Check-in is scheduled for 4PM. We love to have guests in their room as soon as possible and can not confirm 100% an early check in at this point in time. We do promise that we will work hard to have you in your room ASAP. We suggest stopping by the property for us to hold your bags while you lounge at the hotel, visit the beach, and/or tour the city while your room is getting ready.

Check-out is scheduled for 11AM. We will gladly extend a complimentary late check-out for 12 noon and can not guarantee a later check-out at this point in time. We do suggest you ask our front desk on the day of your departure in order for us to assist you with your request as late check-outs are based upon availability.

We would gladly store your bags for you after check-out and you may lounge at property and use the multiple amenities we have to offer while you wait to head to the airport, cruise port or your future destination.

The local tourism company does not allow hotels in the metro area to provide shuttle services for their guests. The best way to arrive to our property from the airport, cruise port or any other destination would be by either taxi and/or Uber. 

If you are traveling from the airport or cruise port, a taxi stand will be available and able to assist you with your transportation needs. If you choose Uber, you would need to use the app to add our address and Bingo! Just remember, we are located on McLeary Street #1853 San Juan, PR. This info will come in handy

Trópica Beach Hotel does not have an elevator. If you would prefer to stay in a first level room please let our team know as soon as possible in order for us to try our best to assist you with your request.

Trópica has a small and intimate plunge pool. Some may say we are competing to have the world’s smallest plunge pool and odds are we might win! 

We have 2 options for parking. You may park on the street for Free at a first come, first serve basis. Just make sure it’s not a yellow line. You may also opt for private parking at a cost of $20 (per 24 hrs) with unlimited in and out privileges. We offer valet service from Tuesday through Sunday included with this cost.

At Trópica we have removed phones from your room so you may relax. Since communication is still important we text with our guests through regular text messages and/or What’s App. Guests may text us at (939)-491-9787 at any point in time.
